Single & Double Chamber Floating Bed, Lined Ion Exchange Purification Vessel

      In scenarios such as industrial pure water production, boiler feedwater softening and chemical process water treatment, ion exchange equipment serves as the core unit for water purification and salt removal. Traditional water treatment tanks are mostly made of ordinary metal materials. When exposed to acid-base regenerants and corrosive water for a long time, the inner walls are prone to rusting, scaling and medium penetration. Conventional fixed-bed water treatment equipment features low resin utilization, high consumption of regenerants and large footprint, making it hard to meet the demands of continuous water purification in modern industrial production. To satisfy industry requirements for corrosion resistance, durability and high-efficiency purification of industrial water treatment equipment, our factory develops and manufactures single / double chamber floating bed lined equipment.       This single / double chamber floating bed is available in two structural configurations: single chamber and double chamber, to match different water treatment standards and production capacities. The single-chamber floating bed adopts an integrated cavity structure with neatly filled resin. Water flows upward in a floating operation while regenerant flows downward in countercurrent. The countercurrent regeneration mode improves resin exchange utilization and reduces the consumption of regenerant chemicals. The double-chamber floating bed divides the tank into separate upper and lower cavities via internal porous baffles, which are filled with strong and weak ion exchange resins respectively. Layered operation prevents resin mixing and delivers stable water desalination and softening performance, suitable for raw water with high hardness and high salt content.

      The core advantage of the equipment lies in its lined anti-corrosion structure. The tank base material is carbon steel to guarantee overall structural strength and pressure resistance. The inner wall is lined with rubber for corrosion protection. The lining adheres tightly without gaps and isolates acid and alkaline media from contact with the metal substrate. The lining material features acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance and anti-permeation properties. It will not peel, flake or degrade during long-term operation, effectively solving problems such as corrosion and water leakage of metal tanks and water contamination. It extends the overall service life of the equipment and adapts to corrosive water treatment environments in chemical, power, metallurgical and other industries.

      The equipment boasts strong adaptability to operating conditions. The floating bed mode enables continuous water treatment. Water flows through the resin layer for sufficient contact, and calcium, magnesium ions and various salts in the water can be effectively displaced and removed. The treated water meets the standards for industrial pure water and boiler feedwater. The equipment runs with low flow resistance and stable water throughput to meet continuous water purification demands of medium and large industrial production lines. Featuring a compact layout and small footprint, it occupies less space compared with traditional fixed-bed equipment and supports compact equipment layout planning in factories.
